So far... everything is as good as complete. Here is the entire event planning for teacher's day

Game TIme:

Objective: To see how well the students know their teachers

How to play:

- A power-point slide will be prepared and information on the teachers will be prepared and information on the teachers will be compiled.

- The questions will be asked as such "Which teacher loves to dance?" or "Which teacher LOVES to eat chocolate?". Clues will be given

- Students will have to volunteer and be picked to go on stage to answer the questions. Each correct answer will deserve a prize.

Teachers' Day Poem Contest Winners:

Before the Teacher's Day Celebration, the students were told to write a poem for the teachers for the teachers TEachers DAy Poem Writing Competition. The chosen poems will be recited during the celebration.

Prefect Ending:

Every year, all the prefects will gather on the stage to sing a song like a choir for the teachers. Last year was a chinese song but this year we decided it should be an english song. And every year, during the prefect ending, the prefects will also hand out gifts to the teachers from the stage. Last year, the gift was a rock that was nicely painted with the words Happy Teachers' Day. This year Mr Effandi had decided this:

Gifts for Teachers: The selected poems from the competition, Poem Entries printed on authentic golden paper, scrolled up and secured with a ribbon.

Song Choice: You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins.

1) Furry string that is used to decorate christmas tree
2) Glitter Glue (yellow, silver and blue)
3) ROund shape balloons (one packet)
4) Other shaped balloons (one packet)
5) Double-sided Tape

2) Prizes for Teachers' Day Poem Writing COmpetition (need to buy? is it required?? not sure....?_?)

That's all that's settled....the problem is the PM session......haven't started yet...have to ask the Pri 1 and 2 to see if they want to perform for teachers' Day. This idea has the Pros and Cons....

Pro: The response will be OVERWHELMING. We probably need to kick some out.

Cons: They are only 7 or 8 years old. I think for them to put up their own performance is a little......hard....What about quality?? In the AM session itself none of the performers are Pri 3 cause their audition was a mess (agree...?) how bout the Pri 1 and 2 now??
